Li2025 Call for Code Global Winner
Linda
An AI-driven safety assistant that leverages machine learning to detect environmental hazards and distress signals in real-time, providing a safety net for gig workers and lone operators.
Robert Odhiambo — 4 Years of Engineering Excellence.

I sit at the intersection of hardware precision and software intelligence. Currently completing my degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Nairobi, I have spent the last four years architecting high-performance digital solutions that solve tangible African challenges.
My journey began in 2022, fueled by a curiosity to understand not just how code runs, but how machines think. This dual focus—combining the logic of circuit analysis with the scalability of modern software—led me to co-found DuniAfrika Group. As the Lead Software Architect, I build systems that are not only robust and scalable but socially impactful.
In 2025, my team and I secured the Grand Prize at the Call for Code Global Challenge for "Linda," an AI-powered safety assistant designed to protect vulnerable workers. This achievement underscores my core philosophy: technology reaches its highest potential when it is used to preserve life and dignity.
Whether I am designing anomaly detection models for fraud prevention, soldering embedded systems for IoT applications, or architecting backend infrastructure, my goal remains the same: to build the future, one circuit and one line of code at a time.

AgAgricultural Logistics Platform
A digital logistics platform designed to streamline the agricultural supply chain, optimizing the flow of produce from small-scale farmers to storage facilities and markets.
CyMobility Service Infrastructure
A high-concurrency mobility infrastructure built to manage ride requests, fleet tracking, and user data with low-latency performance.
DuCo-Founder & Lead Architect
The parent organization behind my major projects. We function as a tech collective focused on building solutions for the African context.
Understanding your constraints, users, and goals. We map the problem space and identify technical and business requirements before writing a single line of code.
Architecture and technology choices. I design systems that scale, stay maintainable, and fit your team's capacity. From APIs to data models to deployment pipelines.
Interfaces and interactions. Clean, accessible UIs that prioritize clarity and performance. I work closely with product and users to iterate quickly.
Execution with precision. Backend services, frontend apps, embedded logic, or ML pipelines—built with tested, documented, and deployable code.
“Robert's ability to bridge hardware and software is rare. He delivered a system that not only works—it scales.”
“The Linda project showed what's possible when technology is built with purpose. A deserving Call for Code winner.”
“From discovery to deployment, the process was clear and the output production-ready. Exactly what you want in an architect.”
